Proudly we would like to announce our 2020 auction date: Tuesday 10 November 2020. The 3rd edition of The Youngsters – Auction of Young Showjumpers will once again take place at Waaij Stud in Eemnes, The Netherlands. A collection of 3-year-old loose jumpers and 4-, 5- and 6-year-old sporthorses will be auctioned on a hopefully spectacular auction evening on Tuesday 10 November.

“However our auction will look slightly different because of the corona restrictions, we strive to create our unique ambiance for the third time”, says Peter van der Waaij, who organizes The Youngsters together with his brother Jasper van der Waaij, Suus Kuyten and Harrie Wiering. “We got permission by the local government of Eemnes to organize our auction with a limit number of guests. However, our auction will be broadcasted at ClipMyHorse.TV and for the first time, online bidding will be possible as well.”

Excellent performances by 2018 & 2019 references
Lately, the team of The Youngsters has seen numerous of references performing outstandingly. The  2018 top-seller Je T’Aime Z shows off his fantastic scope in the 7-year-old classes ridden by Billy Twomey, while 2019 top-seller Unicorn dominates in the hunter division ridden by Owen Rogers in the USA.
In the Dutch championships for young horses, both Leicester and Lamira reached the final. Ridden by Glenn Knoester, Leicester finished in 7th place with a 9.1 for jumping. Meanwhile in Poland, the 5-year-old Karanza won the bronze medal in the young horse championships ridden by Slawomir Uchwat.
Many other references have been competing successfully in the international young horse classes, like Jillz (Glenn Knoester NED), Jackpot (Morgane Dassio SUI), Irdita (Falih Al Dulaimi IRQ & Noora Al Quaoud KUW), Havanna (Paris Morssinkhof NED), My Precious Diamond (Anne Bakker NED), Jupiler (Paris Morssinkhof NED) and Jalisca (Lisa-Mayleen Thoma GER).

‘From rough diamonds to international competition horses’
“For 2020, we have again made a high quality selection – varying from promising rough diamonds to international competition horses. This year, our sporthorses have more competition experience than previous years and our collection of 3-year-olds is again full of great talents and fantastic pedigrees”, tells Peter van der Waaij. “In a couple of weeks the photo/video days will take place and shortly after that we will publish our collection online.”
