The explosive jumper Kaboom seems to have all the ingredients for a modern showjumper. The 4-year-old gelding has a good rideability, a great way of jumping and the limit of his scope looks far away.
In addition, Kaboom has a very comfortable canter and good reflexes on the fence. His sire Corporal VDL jumped at Grand Prix level with both Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Jur Vrieling and seems to pass on his talent to his offspring. Kaboom’s dam Sanne already produced Laura Kraut’s and Lorenzo de Luca’s Grand Prix showjumper Paratrooper and also granddam Wonnige stood at the basis of several successful international showjumpers. In addition, Kaboom is closely related to successful 1.60m showjumpers such as GK Quentin, GK Casper, AD Zarisma and many more.
