Kurt is one of the most striking jumpers out of this year’s collection of The Youngsters. This 3-year-old gelding seems to have unlimited scope, a great canter and a fantastic technique on the jump. Kurt is sired by one of world’s leading sires: the former world champion Vigo d’Arsouilles. Grandsire Indoctro is among the most influential sires of his generation as well and great-grandsire Chalan brings in the excellent genes of Chambertin. The damline of Kurt has produced numerous Grand Prix showjumpers and approved stallions, for instance John Pals’ Fernando, Jos Lansink’s For Cento, McLain Ward’s Quinta and Juan Carlos Garcia’s Cocodrillo. With his tremendous scope, carefulness and way of jumping, Kurt seems to have all the ingredients to follow in his relatives’ footsteps.
