After a successful, exciting and innovative first edition of The Youngsters – Auction of Young Showjumpers, the organizing team is looking forward to a second edition: Tuesday the 1st of October 2019 in Eemnes. In 2018, 27 talented showjumpers found a new owner through the auction and The Youngsters expects to be able to put together another spectacular collection for the upcoming edition. On Tuesday the 1st of October this group of talented showjumpers will be auctioned at Waaij Stud in Eemnes.

Last year, the young, ambitious team of Suus Kuyten Horses and Waaij Stud joined forces for the first edition of The Youngsters – Auction of Young Showjumpers. This initiative was well-received by many and resulted in a successful auction and many positive reactions from the new owners. Seven auction horses out of last year’s edition of The Youngsters have already made their international debut and the team has been receiving plenty promising videos from the new owners.

With great enthusiasm, Suus Kuyten, Harrie Wiering, Peter van der Waaij and Jasper van der Waaij are therefore opting for a second edition that will take place on Tuesday the 1st of October 2019 in Eemnes. The collection will only be finally announced later on, but here is a sneak peek: the list of The Youngsters-potentials consists of offspring by sires such as Cornet Obolensky, Chacco Blue, Emerald, Diamant de Semilly, Aganix du Seigneur, For Pleasure, Scuderia 1918 Halifax, Balou du Rouet, Harley VDL, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, Conthargos and Monte Bellini.

From last year’s collection, seven horses are already competing at international level. Top seller Je T’Aime Z (Je T’Aime Flamenco x Indoctro) performed excellent in Oliva, Spain, where he jumped clear with Norway’s top rider Marit Haarr Skollerud in the final for the 6-year-old showjumpers. Havana (Baloubet du Rouet x Gralshüter) and Jupiler (Action Breaker x Quite Easy I) jumped highly successful as well in Oliva – both horses are ridden by the talented rider Paris Morssinkhof. Jerante (Baltic x Warrant) and Cascarilli (sports name Jack, Cascarillo x Celano) made performed well in Italy’s Arezzo, while I-Catcher (sports name I-Bertha, El Primero x Oklund) competed successfully in Carmona, Spain. The Corland-daughter Irdita made her international debut successfully in Kuwait.
